The DIG Wellness Center is overseen by our Director of Wellness Haley Cooke and Family Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Flores. All of our staff is eager to help the employees of DIG and their families to meet their health and wellness goals.
As Henry Ford once said, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't-you're right." Our mission is to educate, encourage, and inspire the employees of DIG and their families to live more healthy and balanced lifestyles-mind, body, and soul.
Haley is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport Science. She also has a Master of Education in Sports Administration and Management. Haley works to coordinate fitness classes, competitions, nutritional plans and personal training sessions for the employees of FDLIC. As a former coach and collegiate athlete, Haley has always had a passion for fitness and the impact it has on everyday life. She believes when you take care of your own health you allow yourself to better serve, love and care for others. She stays active coaching, officiating, playing sports and taking advantage of the FD fitness classes. Haley’s free time is spent with her son Benson.
Jennifer was born and raised in Abilene, TX and is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a Master's degree in Nursing. Jennifer oversees the DIG Wellness Clinic, where she treats employees and their family members who are on the company health insurance plan. Jennifer has been married for over 25 years to the Fire Chief at the Abilene Fire Department. She and her husband have four beautiful children and one daughter-in-law. Jennifer's goal is to empower others with the knowledge they need to promote a healthy lifestyle, prevent disease, and achieve their health and wellness goals for the future.
Angie has worked at FDLIC for over 10 years and enjoys leading Spin class. Her initial love of running began in 2000 and fostered her love for cycling. She is a firm believer in setting goals and working hard to achieve them. She also believes that exercising should be challenging but fun.
Branddy joined the staff at FD in 2019 and works in Accounting. She currently teaches Choose to Move and actively attends other classes offered in the DIG Wellness Center. Branddy believes in keeping herself physically active as well as leading her family by example.
Emily has been part of the FD Marketing team over 4 years and teaches Yoga. Because she has never particularly enjoyed high-intensity exercise, she started attending yoga classes and fell in love with the demanding stretches and calming atmosphere. She loves teaching yoga because of the benefits and accessibility – you don’t need to have any flexibility or strength to participate in a yoga class! Individuals at any fitness level can benefit physically and mentally from incorporating yoga into their fitness routine.
Erin joined the staff at FD in 2019 and has a passion for helping people succeed. Currently she leads the Choose to Move classes and assists with Zumba. She enjoys being a part of the DIG Wellness Center team and looks forward to her classes when colleagues can come together during the day for a brief but important time to strengthen their bodies.
John has been with FDLIC for over 2 years and leads our Product Design team. John has been attending FD fitness classes since he was hired and now co-teaches Metabolic Burn. Having active boys and recognizing the benefits of personal discipline led him to develop a realistic and approachable practice to health and exercise. He is curious about the connections between physical and spiritual disciplines while just feeling his best day to day.
Kim has worked for FDLIC as a Marketing Assistant for over 2 years and is a certified ReFit instructor. Outside of work, Kim stays busy with her family and volunteer events. She also spends her afternoons working at her family ranch.
Lori has worked for FDLIC over 20 years and teaches P90X Stretch, P90X Yoga, and Body Pump. Lori loves that our company provides such a great gym that is so convenient to use. She enjoys exercising every day after work to help maintain a healthy weight and to get moving after sitting at a desk all day.
Maria has been employed with FDLIC for over 5 years and teaches the Spin Circuit class. It is hard not to want to work out when you have a company that provides so much for you. FDLIC is the first company she has worked for that not only encourages healthy living but goes out of the way to provide the tools for its employees to do so.
Patrick has worked for FDLIC for over 2 years and teaches Holdout and Bands classes. Patrick found a passion for fitness and exercise in college and enjoys lifting weights and playing sports. He works in the IT department on the OnBase team. On the weekends, he likes to play golf or work on his own business, Elite Fleet Valet.
Tarrence has worked for Passare for over 2 years and teaches Group Boxing. Tarrence has always been interested in physical activity, especially fighting. He understands the importance of technique and boxing basics. He believes that boxing is a great way to burn calories and is an excellent form of cardio.
As the Executive Vice President of Sales and Chief Sales Office, Todd finds time to teach core strength, cardio intervals and spin. In his early twenties, he suffered a debilitation back injury. After years of inactivity, he decided to take control of his physical well-being. He believes in putting in the hard, sometimes painful work to build a better healthier self.
Trevor works as a Portfolio Manager for Parkway Advisors and co-teaches Metabolic Burn. Trevor spends most of his day sitting at a desk managing investments, so he finds the gym to be a good outlet for his energy and a great way to manage stress. Outside of work he enjoys CrossFit, biking, kayaking and traveling with his wife, Kalee.
